Dollhouse Miniature Vintage Rainlamp, Oillamp 1/12 Scale Miniature Lighting

This is a miniature 1/12 scale version of a Vintage Rainlamp for your dollhouse.

This is a replica of the original Rainlamps that were very popular in the 1970's. I have done my best to stay true to the original design and size. Whilst the lamp is fully lit, the "rain" is simulated via thin thread. The full sized versions use oil that flows down these threads to simulate rain, but in this case, it is so small that the oil drops would not be in scale.

The sculpture is finished with colored metallic waxes in brass and silver whilst the rest of the lamp is painted with real metal paint and then given a green gold patina.
